Got a Uranus LED calculator watch. Anyone know about these?

So I recently got a new old stock Uranus LED calcultor watch at an estate sale. Just the watch, no manual or box. It seems to work fine with new 1.55 V batteries.

There's not much info on the internet about this model so I thought that people here might be able to help.

Does anyone know the model number? A copy of the manual? Know what all the buttons do (most are obvious but I can't figure out some of the calculator functions)? Lastly, any idea about the value?

    Thanks. Any information much appreciated.

Wow, that's one funky looking watch! There was a funky looking watches thread earlier, you should post on that one as well. No idea about the model man, there are some who know quite a bit about digitals on here (Popoki Nui, for one) ...

Very good find. An extremely rare watch and very desireable, especially in working condition. IIRC there's also supposed to be a kind of bracket for it, hooks into the side, maybe a battery charger (can't remember the purpose). It should do well on ebay, maybe over $1k.

Oh my...that is one sweet watch! Pretty much one of the Big Three of must-have LED calc watches along with the Pulsar Time Computer and Hewlett-Packard HP-01 calculator watches.

If you haven't found info on it already, here's a link:

And a great LED site with many experienced LED-heads:

    Awesome watch! Congratulations!

Funky - love the red led display, the style and calculator buttons around the bezel.

Your Uranus calculator wrist watch looks like mine except mine has a pin slot on each side at the 3 and 9 to attach a battery charger. I have had this watch since 1976, when they were introduced. I do not have the manual, but I do have the box. I am currently trying to get it running. Can't locate rechargeables of that size. Mine were coded 10SL17. A jeweler measured the battery at 5mm x 11mm. Do you know of a brand that will work?

A matching rechargeable should be possible to find or you can use a plastic spacer with a smaller battery.
A detailed technical review of this watch is available on my site, click below:
