    Graduation present--omega or breitling

So, my parents recently have told me that they would like to get me a nice watch for graduation. So far, I have narrowed down my list to 4 watches.
    1) Planet Ocean
    2) Planet Ocean Chrono
    3) 42mm Super Ocean Heritage
    4) 46mm Super Ocean Heritage Chrono

My wrist is 6.75in and is quite flat. Here is my dilemma. The planet ocean fits my wrist perfectly, but I like the style of the chrono version more. I really love the 46mm SOH chrono, but I am worried that it might be too big for my wrist. Another issue with the SOH is that I cannot get the traditional titanium breitling bracelet only the mesh.
My ideal watch would be a 42mm SOH Chrono on the traditional titanium bracelet, but I don't think this is possible.

This is my first expensive watch and I will be owning it for the long haul. It would be my "do everything" watch.
What do guys think I should do? Are there any other watches that you guys would recommend?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You have answer it my friend. It's 2)

If it is for me, I will take SOH with mesh. I like the classic look and I rarely see that one on people's wrist.
Even with that said. Omega Planet Ocean and Planet Ocean Chrono will hold better value for you. Simply there are more buyer looking for PO.

I also vote for the SOH. It is a rarely seen watch, whereas the PO is becoming very common.
However, which of the POs are you looking at? If it's the new ones, go with that instead.

    cheers,
    Jake.

i would take the original PO. The cleanliness of the face is so classic that I would never consider a chronograph from Omega unless it is the Speedmaster. And plus, the added elegance of a clean face makes it good for all occasions while a chronograph may be percieved as too sporty sometimes.

Planet Ocean. More iconic and more for such an occasion. It holds its value much better than anything else. Not to mention the top quality.

I agree with this. I have never been a fan of the POC, but the Planet Ocean is a beautiful watch that you could give to your own kid for his graduation.

I'd go for the PO (the classic, not the new one) or the SOH 42... I don't think you can go wrong with either one...

Man...these are two of my favorite watches! I have an Omega, so I would probably choose the Breitling, but if I didn't have an Omega, I'd probably get a black dial, white numeral PO on smooth black rubber with contrast stitching.
