    Grand seiko vintage

After drooling for few months I decided to grab a vintage gs over a vintage Tudor. Vintage Rolex was out of budget... read about impressive GS history and decide to grab one.

Was lucky to find on forum for the right price. The watch came with a blue alligator strap. Love the strap but wanted to try a vintage leather strap. I was hardly able to Google any gs on vintage strap. So here is one.. what do gs lovers think?

Watch when bought was running -10 seconds a day. Minor adjustment turned it to +-5 seconds a week. Mmmhhh .. love the accuracy.

Poor pictures with a red hue.

Love the watch but I don't think the strap is dressy enough for it.

Yeah, the strap does nothing for me. To me, that screams for croc or something similarly classy.

    Gorgeous watch, though. Very nice.

Looks very nice to me. A bit different to the usual black and brown alligators. I have a burgundy one that I like:

It seems like that watch should have a black, large square scaled, alligator. I personally don't like either the turquoise or the brown strap; it just doesn't go with a grand Seiko in my opinion.

My strap collection is all 22mm. I am sure to spend a day now to find the right grand alligator for the seiko. Thank you for your thoughts
