Guess what I just snagged, it's NOS and I've wanted one for years

I just never thought that I'd find one new. Its the Zodiac Calame, it has the coolest lug design IMO. It may need a minor service as these go back a ways but I'm good with that. I'm just happy to get my hands on one. This is the Ebay sellers pic, great guy by the way. I can hardly wait for this watch to arrive.

ebay is showing several examples of the Calame on offer right now - both white and black dials.

It is an attractive piece, nice grab.

Nice grab. I saw one at the Fossil Outlet store back when and it looked really good. They were even available on TV at one time also! I believe it has this special perforated band to allow better breath-ability. I believe it also comes with a golden rotor too. If the watch is keeping good time, I doubt it will require service?

Would you say I have a plethora of watches?

That Seawolf re-issue is a fine looking piece... If only it were a chronograph!

There are some on Ebay, differing models. I don't know if any are NOS.

What were you thinking it was?

Thanks very much. It was the lugs that drew me to this watch all those years ago.

Thanks again. This is what makes collecting watches fun, when you pick up something you never thought you would find.
