Hamilton or Eterna... Please help me decide

Considering Eterna Soleure Automatic (8310.41.11.1176) or Hamilton Jazzmaster silver dial watch (H38515555). Which one would you prefer in looks, brand etc.,. The price is almost the same, Eterna being around $100 more. All opinions and other watch suggestions in and around $750 are welcome. Thanks.

Both are around 42mm in diameter. Hamilton is slim at 8mm vs 9.4 for Eterna.

i like both brands, but in this case i prefer eterna just because the hamilton lacks minute markers.

I think it is a discontinued version. They have a new soleure watch line.

Personally, I like the Hammy H32515555 better. It has more texture to the dial.

I was actually searching for Hammys today and I just love this one.

Hamilton Viewmatic is a beautiful watch, but I have a Tissot Le Locle which looks almost the same. I wanted a very plain and simple watch without much stuff on the dial and the same time classy and beautiful. Other brand suggestions are welcome too. Thanks.

One more reason to choose the Eterna. It's a dress watch. Having lume on a dress watch is not a bad thing, but considered a bit less "refined".
The graphics on the dial is also superior on the Eterna.
And, the show caseback? Really over-rated. It's of value ONLY for watches that REALLY do have something special to show. In this case, neither models has it.
This worthy conceit - of showing off really well-finished movements - is now used to justify using cheaper casebacks - glass is cheaper to do than steel. And of course, harder to keep W/R up, and easier to break.
