    Hamilton Khaki Chrono Pics

A couple of scans of my new watch. I'm in week two and I'm enjoying it so far. It's much larger than my other watches but I'm starting to get used to it. It's keeping good time, too, as you'd expect from a Valjoux 7750 movement. General fit and finish quality seems really good for the money, definitely up there with some pricier watches.

I actually meant to post this to the Affordable watch forum but I guess it can live here, too!

I have one coming on Wed. It will be my first chrono.

Do you by chance of a watch like a seiko diver to compare its size to?

That Hammy is one of my faves. Love that 'Valjoux Jiggle.'

Hi Dace. I have an Omega SMP but don't have pics handy for comparison. The case on the Khaki is thicker, wider and generally bigger. The most obvious thing for me is that the lugs are quite big and long on the Khaki which makes it feel like a big watch. Not to say that's a bad thing, though. I can post pics in a day or so but you'll have your watch by then, I guess! Hope you like it.

I just received the watch and it is indeed thick. The lugs are quite large as well.

Sorry for the newb question, but what are the dials at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions for? I cant figure it out.

Hit the top chrono button and watch the minutes log at 12 and hours at 6!

Hi Dace, now you've had the watch for a day or two, what are your thoughts so far?

    Re: Hamilton Khaki Chrono Pics

I love it. I am wearing it right now as I type this. I set it last night to the official time and it has lost about 2 seconds so far. No big deal to me. The watch is heavy, heavier then any other watch I own. It is larger then any of my Seiko divers (SKX007). However it is very comfortable.

Those are my impressions thus far.
