    Hand wound watch under $2k

After a lot of research and a lot of back and forth I think the Montblanc Heritage Ultra Slim is exactly what I am looking for.
Hand wound, under 40 mm, silver or white dial, clean Arabic face, black leather strap, and between $1-$2k.
I would have purchased it by now but it appears that it has been out of stock on the gray market for quite some time? I like the idea of spending $1,400 instead of $2k. Assuming I can find a new one now on a reputable site?
Either way I would appreciate some suggestions if anyone knows of any other very similar options.
The Hamilton Intra-Matic is a cool watch but I just want to spend a bit more. One of the Junghans Max Bill watches is also very intriguing but I don’t believe it has a display back. Not a must-have but it is a nice option.
The Montblanc 1858 is also close but I don’t see a light dial and not sure I want a small second hand.
    Any advice/recommendations greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

I prefer indexes to numerals, so Nomos Orion fills this spot in my collection.

My favorite handwound under $2k is Ball's Trainmaster 21 Century (39mm), black or white dial--very limited edition, but because it is handwound, still many around--Jomas has them (black dial) for $1.3K, white dial, a bit more, for example. Has a hunter's back which can be engraved, and it opens to an exhibition back. I suggest you eliminate your strap requirement, as that is something you can purchase on your own after the fact--that's the thing that sets yours apart from everybody else's.

That’s a great watch that I have checked out. I own a Fireman Racer.

I love that Montblanc heritage chronométrie ultra slim. Can’t really think of anything that would work for me as a substitute. YMMV

The Nomos Tangente may be what you’re looking for.

The Tangente is striking in almost every way but I don’t know if I could get over the one dimensional face. Not the best description but not sure how to describe it.
