    Hands > 2892-2 versus 2893-2

    Hey all.

So I've been trying to mod my Steinhart Ocean 1 GMT by switching the hands. The GMT runs on a 2893-2 movement and the dial is 30mm. I can't seem to find any hands that fit the bill.

After tons of research it seems like there are a lot more options for the 2892-2 movement. My questions are:

    (1) does anyone know where I can find some 2893-2 hands for a 30mm dial; or
    (2) are 2892-2 hands compatible for 2893-2 watches [it seems like they might be]. If so, I was looking at these [ Watch Hand for Omega Watch James Bond ETA 2892 2 Silver | eBay ] and then going to keep my GMT hand on as well - would this work?

Thanks to all for your help!

    Howdy

Not sure I'm afraid - maybe ask in the watchmaking forum?

Aside from the 24 hour hand, which the 2892A2 doesn't have, the hands are the same.

90/150/25 (minute/hour/second) if you want to find a 24 hour hand you need a 180, which is the same as used by the Omegas

These are also the same as the 2824, 2836, and host of other movements....
