London watchmaker Struthers celebrates one of the most respected automotive marques in the business with an elegant timepiece inspired by the trench-style watches popularized in the 1900s. Available in a Field Watch (above) or Officer’s Watch model, the watches feature 38mm cases, handmade leather straps, and manual-wind 1950s Swiss ébauche movements restored in-house by Struthers which can be substituted with other available vintage or modern movements. The watches will be manufactured in a limited production of 50 watches in silver and 5 in 18kt rose gold.

    $14,900-$22,700, Morgan

Nice to see someone using silver as a case material. I'm surprised Morgan went with such a small-operation partner though.

Bechause both are runned by British independent family or individuals underlining the character ? Maybe London master watchmaker Craig Struthers and Birmingham leading antiquarian horologist Rebecca Struthers were the best team creating such a watch to to honour design and heritage ?

Meh. Fairly ugly and overpriced. I also can;t imagine how wearable that strap setup would be. The leather used looks to be abover-average in weight, and those fixed (or appear-to-be-fixed) lugs are slender compared to the watch case, so the watch would be teetering on the strap that rides on the bund pad.

    Love Morgan though!

    I can't say I'm a fan of watch and car tie-ups.
We all have varied tastes in watches and also our cars and to have both align perfectly would not be common, I would've thought.

Interesting or just a novelty? Original design or straining for effect?

The latter in both cases I think. And expensive...
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

As Morgan are involved, shouldn't the watch be made of wood and break down every few days?
