Hello and good morning, I’m a noob here!

I’m in hopes this is the right place to post this? I’m a Presidential daydate wristwatch aficionado. I’m going to go out on a limb here and let you all know up front that I cannot afford a Rolex presidential daydate at this point in my life. So with that out of the way I would like to ask you all in the larger community as to what’s a decent wristwatch that’s a good image of one? I was looking at the Orient wristwatch although I would like to have the presidential bracelet instead of the jubilee, does anyone have any pointers for me? Here’s a picture of what I would really love to have...

Welcome. I think that the Orient is probably your best bet despite it lacking the president bracelet.

Geckota make a pretty nice presidential style bracelet that has solid links. The end links are flexible (obviously not solid) to accommodate different watch heads. Itís fairly reasonably priced and would look great on almost any president style watch. Iíd choose the watch you love and figure out the bracelet.

    Welcome.

That style was *all* the rage in the '90s. Everyone and their dog had a day-date/president/datejust clone. Look for a Bulova Super Seville on the used market. Seiko had at least a few models, but I don't remember the references off the top of my head. One of the Wittnauer QWRs would work, if you want a quartz. The Orient's stock bracelet isn't going to be great anyway.
Choose a job you love, and you'll never work a day in your life because that field isn't hiring.

I am a fan of the Bulova. They do get pricey. Good luck.

I personally love that Orient and was on the hunt for one for quite a long time - no joy. If you find one, get it.
