    Hello..newbie need some advise

Hi all..i'm a newbie and i need to ask several question that need your expert views and advises.

Someone want to sell his Vintage Omega Seamaster for $100USD. Is it a good buy? The seller told me everything is original except the strap. I also attached the picture.

If the movement is working fine, thats a great deal for a vintage Omega.

Looks like it needs a bit of love; but appears to be 'in order'.
I'd pay a 'ton' for it.

Looks good...But, b/4 you start wearing, take it in for a service.

And be aware that a service will likely cost you more than you pay for the watch. If the seller has proof of a good service done in the last few years, then the price is even better.

On my mobile, so I can't see the pics, but this almost sounds too good to be true. Can you have the authenticity verified before buying (see it in person)? Or maybe at least open it up to see the movement? Is it running? Keeping decent time? I'd be asking a ton of questions...

$100 for that, sounds far too good to be true. I would be highly suspicious at that price. If everything is kosher then you have a steal

If it works then I'd go for it at that price and take the gamble on it not been real.

It looks as though it may have had some moisture inside the case and on the dial but if it is running then it sounds like a good buy, but a service would be a must. Let us know what happens in the end.

Looks original to me. It'll just need a good service.
