    Help choose..please

Hey I have narrowed down my choices for a watch... I need something somewhat dressy but at the same time not a complete dress watch..

I also need it to be a little casual so i can wear it to the office.

    My choices are...
IWC Chrono 3717.. but i'm not a big fan of pilot watches.
    Rolex Milgauss..
    Blancpain Leman Grande..
    Pam 111..

These are all under 4500 which is my budget.. Help choose..
    Any other recommendations..

    Thanks

If you're not a big fan of pilot watches, you could start by crossing the pilot watch off your list.

Holy Carp - the expenditure of 4.5k USD rests entirely on the posts of some annonymous watch fanatics?

    I'll flip a 4 sided coin and say ...........

    Blancpain!

I'm not keen on any of these. But as it's your money, I'd have the PAM.

When I see them in the wild (which is rare), they look awesome.

From your list I'd probably go with the Pam 111, but the Rolex would be a very close 2nd.

I'd also look into something from the Longines Master Collection as well as Breitling Navitimer & Chronomat with your budget.

    I'd go preowned ...

and suggest an IWC Aquatimer or IWC Ingenieur , Rolex Seadweller, Ulysse Nardin MMD, or go for two like an Omega PO and Omega Aqua Terra or Omega Speedmaster.

what do you wear at the "office". The PAM is really to big to wear under a jacket (yeah, yeah, I know it's been done but it doesn't look right).
I like the Milgauss. Good, solid Rolex that isn't a DJ w/sticks or a sub.

    Re: Help choose..please

I'm posting the exact same reply I did for another member asking for < $5k recommendations -

You could get an S/S Zenith Captain El Primero on a leather strap for about $5000 (it will retail for $6500) if you wait for a few months (Topper Jewelers is an AD). The other options I've mentioned earlier are really good too. But then, that's my taste and I make no apologies for it

Other watches I'd consider for that kind of money are (in no particular order of preference ... well, perhaps the JLC first) -
Omega Seamaster AT (cal. 8500) or the de Ville with the same movement that is slated to come out later this year,
    NOS Chopard L.U.C. Sport 2000
NOS Girard-Perregaux Classic Elegance (Ref. 45790)/Sea Hawk II Pro
    Pre-owned (mint) Blancpain Fifty Fathoms
NOS (or minty pre-owned) Breguet Type XX or an Ebel Le Modulor
IWC Mark XVI Spitfire (perhaps the silver dial)
Glashuette Original Senator Sixties (no date version)
    Dornblueth & Sohn Zentrumsekunde
NOS/mint(y) Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Ultra Thin
    Grand Seiko automatic GMT (SBGM001)

The only suggestion I might change is from the Captain to an NOS Class 4 Zenith El Primero. I'm sure you can stretch your budget to $5k if you're willing to drop $4.5k on a watch ... Am not sure about all these $4k to $5k requests lately, don't people use the search function anymore

I have to go with a post I suggested earlier for someone else even though it isn't on your list of choices.
