Help finding a JeanRichards Terrascope style watch but cheaper

    Hey all!

I'm looking to buy a new watch and stumbled upon the JeanRichards Terrascope range and love it! However, it's too expensive - don't you hate it when that happens. So I challenge YOU to find a watch resembling the case design of that watch, but with a price range of about $500> (£300ish), less is better! Also I would strongly prefer it to be automatic.

Here is a link to the JR watch

(Edit: I forgot to say I also need the case to be considerably smaller, maybe 38-40mm. Also the cheaper the better (a date is essential), and the main feature of the watch I like is the squareish case! Thanks again!)

Thanks a lot! I didn't know they were known as cushion cases, that's pretty much all I need, thanks!

Best i can think in the 500 range that looks like that would be the Magrette Pacific

The MARCH LAB watches are nice but a little pricy for the automatic ones. Not too keen on the design and colours of the Magrette but thanks for the suggestion!

Not all of the Magrette's are quite so colorful...

Other cushion brands in your range (new or sometimes used)-- Magrette; Benarus; Citizen Signature Touring and Touring Sport (can be purchased for $600 new on occasion); Maranez; Shinola; Bulova Snorkel II and the new Lobster; Lum-Tec; TimeFactors Smiths Cushion Case; Seiko Recrafts like the SNKN01, SNKN37, and SNKM97 -- Siekos get my vote for now.
