Yeah, really, most likely anyway. What was it about the watch you liked and what's your price range? We the forum may be able to help find you something else...

Thanks for your offer to help.

I posted in the Orient board, specifically in the MAKO USA II post.

Granted I'm in the UK. I was after a MAKO II or a RAY II, but then I find the ever popular Seiko SKX007 and to complicate it more, I find the SNZF17 and SNZF29.

Then, after all that, I have to source the damn thing at a decent price.

I should sleep on it. Let me know which you'd recommend.

Never owned any of those but I've seen the Ray, Mako and 007 recommended a lot. So it's more the black dial, black bezel you're after rather than specifically a chronograph?

You're absolutely right. I think I'll just get a MAKO II or a RAY II. I'll leave the Seiko's for another day.

I really like the detail of how the numbers 2, 6 and 10 are still kind of there. As if the smaller dials have been placed over them.

I don't know if I like it or not (leaning more towards the "not" side)..

is it just me or this model looks like a love-child of an Omega PO (or any similarly designed diver) and a Speedmaster (or any similarly designed chronograph)..
