    Help with Invicta.....

Hey there, still new and have been buying watches like crazy. I need an everyday, dont care if i damage, reasonably good looking watch. Amazon sent me a msg saying Invicta SALE. I know msrp are out of whack, but are they worth it for $150? can anyone recommend one? prefer a square face as my Rolex, Movado, Tissot and TW Steel are round....

This guy can recommend an Invicta to you:

Now honestly, Invictas are ALWAYS on sale, their MSRP are bogus, they are not worth $150, and I think very few people on this forum could recommend one seriously to you.

From what you said, you already have a couple of watches that can play as a nice everyday watch (Tissot, for example). I know this is not usually the advice people give here, but if you're looking for an Invicta, you probably don't have an excuse to get a new watch! :)

Now, if you want a somewhat cheap, good looking watch that you don't care about damaging, get an Orient. Like this: Orient Men's CETAC002W Multi-Eyes White Automatic Watch: Watches: Amazon.com

Not the best looking watch I've ever seen, but definitely better than any Invicta. And still somewhat in your price point.

$150? The sky is the limit! Knock yourself out! For that, you can have an Invicta fit for a king. I think a silver textured "Lupah":

Invicta Men's 0067 Lupah Silver Textured Dial Olive Green Strap Watch: Watches: Amazon.com

would do an admirable job standing in for your well-known, higher-quality, more-than-a-Benjamin-and-a-half timepieces (affected italics for Chronopolis...).

    Are they worth $150? No.
    Can I recommend one? No.
Can anyone recommend one? Probably if you look hard enough.

Incased in Lucite, they make cool paperweights.

Invicta is not the most loved watch here, though many WUS actually like theirs. Better to try in f71 (Affordable Watches board). Also, there is a huge Invicta forum, just google Invicta watch forum.

In my opinion the humble Invicta Pro Diver and its quartz based brother can be decent performers.

If you want to try a cheap square watch, Newegg has this on sale:

Newegg.com - Bulova BVA Series 96A107 Men's Silver Dial Mechanical Automatic Stainless Steel Analog Watch

And Bulova is definitely a more respected brand than Invicta.
