    Help with a Luminox 3051.BO

    Hi Everyone,

I need some help in figuring out if the Luminox I was given as a gift is legit or not.
Here are some of my concerns:
    • The watch has a black crown instead of the grey crown shown in just about every photo of this model I have seen.
    • The watch has a black clasp instead of the plain steel clasp.
    • There isn't a number to the right of the seal emblem however there are some numbers etched at the bottom of the rear case.

It came with the Luminox sunglass style case, warranty card, hang tag, and manual.

Here is an album of the 3051.

Thanks for your help in advance, this is my first Luminox and I hope it checks out!

I think you're safe. Never heard of a Luminox fake.

If you are really concerened you can try and call their customer service. When I called them with a question about my day date change taking roughly 3 hours though they seemed to know less about watches than I do.

But as the Hat says, chances are, it's not a fake.

Just ask for a lume shot ..... after all, where would they get the GTLS tubes from

Is it possible to copy the rest of the watch, sure. If inexpensive Seiko 5's which sell for $50.00 are bootlegged I would think that Luminox could be a target too

    Thanks guys!

I was looking over the paperwork and the model is actually A.3051.BO.1. I also noticed that the crown, clasp/buckle, and the tube capsule on the bezel are the same as the 3052.BO which is a plus to me anyways. The movement is a Ronda 515 like every other 3051.

Same model I have, but, as you stated, mine has a grey crown, and silver steel clasp. Series numbers are above the Navy Seal emblem, "U1" to the right.
    Bought mine early 2013.

BTW, it's held up to major abuse. Looks good as new, functions perfectly.

Wish they had this when I bought mine. One of the reasons I sold mine was due to these things. Here's a pics of mine...
