Help me identify this Girard Perregaux watch

Picked it up at a flea market. Missing strap and crystal. What exactly is it? What are the dials at 3 and 9 used for? Do you think it's worth fixing?

It's a simple Compax 2 register chronograph. For additional information including date you should ask on the Vintage and Pocketwatch forum on WUS.

What do you plan on doing with it once fixed? How much fixing did you figure on doing? A complete restoration to make it look like new could be well in excess of $1k.

About how much would it be worth if it was all fixed up? I'd like to but only if I could get my money back out of it.

Sorry we don't do valuations here. Usually you don't get back what you spend to repair a vintage watch.

Fix it up to flip? I wouldn't bother with that dog.

Not even worthy for my 'junk drawer'.

Not at all to flip. Aesthetically it's a nightmare but it does run. If I was to have it fixed, what would be a basic cost breakdown of the areas that need fixing?

You did say I'd like to but only if I could get my money back out of it. Movement service will be at least $600 or more if parts are needed. Cosmetics including quality dial refinish and correcting all the damage to the case will eat up the rest.
