I read where Lumibrite was suppose to be replacing tritium as a means of illumination.I was wondering why. While I am working(firefighter) I leave my Cockpit in the care of my winder and wear my Luminox Navy Seal.It is a great watch, comfortable, rugged, looks good and night visability is superb.I've always wondered at the possibility of health issues arising from the radiation but Luminox insist that the radiation is so weak that it cannot penetrate the glass tubes.I have not been able to find any opinions or data to refute that.I was thinking of buying a Seiko Kinetic Diver to replace the Luminox if necessary, hell I may buy it anyway.Any information would be appreciated.
