    Hermes Releases Its' First Tourbillon

I know many think of Hermes as a fashion house, but who knew they are going "Haute Horologie?"

For those who love Tourbillon watches, this is really pretty..........

Interesting watch and not a bad design at all. However, I'm not sure I could see spending "haute horlogerie" money on a non-established watch brand. There are too many other (better) options available for likely less money than this will cost (JLC Tourbillon, anybody?)

That's fine. I'm not promoting the watch, I just thought it was a nice piece..........

It actually looks kinda neat. I like the attention to detail on this one and it looks a lot more than a "me too" watch. I agree with the interest factor. However, I'm sure there are folks out there who will want something fancy like this and be fine spending the money for it.

Oh, I didn't believe you were- I was just stating my opinion on houses like Hermes/Gucci/Louis Vuitton/etc. pushing out pieces like this.

I wholeheartedly agree with you that it is a pretty watch, though.

    That's a gorgeous watch.
Predictably, no one here can get past branding though.

I agree. I'm not a brand snob, so if I could afford this, I would have no issue whatsoever strapping it to my wrist. Besides, no one recognizes any of the watches I wear to begin with. I truly doubt Hermes would mean anything to anyone I run into either.

I'd buy it and wear it.. *shrugs*

Then again, this is coming from a guy who owns two RL pieces.

Very nice. Hermes is one of the brands my wife is considering for her next watch. They're not for me, but I won't discourage my wife as they seem to be stepping up their horological game. But she won't be getting this tourbillon.
