Hesitation between 2 straps for my Seiko SNK809

    Hi guys,

I have a Seiko SNK809 and wants to change the nato band that comes with.

I hesitate between this one :

WATCH BAND SPECIALIST - Watch straps and more from Watchbandcenter.com: Watch band 18mm brown (natur) by...

    and this one :

WATCH BAND SPECIALIST - Watch straps and more from Watchbandcenter.com: Watch band "Triest" 18mm dark brown...

One will give it the true vintage pilot style and for the other, I like the idea to have an exotic leather and the colour looks good (but would it be good with this watch, that I dunno)

    Any advice will be appreciated

    Thanks !

When I owned that watch, my favorite strap was an 18mm rallye / racing strap with big giant holes in it. No pic of the combination unfortunately, the strap is similar to this one:

Black shark would look great with a diver with a black face. This is a pilot watch homage. Black sharkskin would still look good, but I don't like brown here. I also have my doubts about what kind of quality shark strap you are actually going to get for only 15 Euro. Something decent is likely to cost well more than this.

If I were you, I would look for a black strap with the metal rivets that you often find on a Flieger. This would be the best casual look for this watch. Brown does not do it for me, unless this is a traditional pilot strap with rivets or vintage looking leather.
