Off topic Homemade Weight Driven Lego Clock

Here is a few pics of my new clock. I call it the Flying Octopus. It runs for about 25 hours. It strikes a chime for each hour on the hour. I think the accuracy is approximately + or - 5 minutes.
    Thanks for looking Chris

Very, very, very cool! Your own design or did you work from a site/manual?

Re: Homemade Weight Driven Lego Clock

If you know where to search, there is an excellent story about a man who built a grandfather (longcase) clock COMPLETELY of lego. It's about 6 or 7 feet tall. Not sure if it keeps time or not, but it's quite a feat. And it's a hell of a lot lighter than a wooden clock of the same size!
