Honestly, do people expect to sell a watch with a photo like this?

This is a watch for sale on Ebay, I'll let you guess the brand. Surely you would look at your pic before you advertised the watch? This is the only pic of the dial I might add.

    You can't fix stupid...

... and you shouldn't try to either.
Wife: Don't you have enough watches?
Me: Don't you have enough earrings?
Wife: So, you're saying that watches are jewelry for Men?
Me: That's exactly what I'm saying.
    Wife: Let's go shopping.

And that's how I got my last watch...

That just shows the lovely patina so craved by collectors.

Be sure to read the small print:

The photo(s) form part of the description, please review thoroughly before bidding.

I think it's some kind of GMT with the yellow 4th hand there. Panerai? Invicta?

    That's pretty bad.

I once bought a watch for 5 dollars from an eBay book seller. The watch would not run, the picture was terrible and it was filthy.

But hey what the hell right, it's 5 bucks.

Below is a copy of the eBay photo, the listing said 'old watch not running' starting bid 5.00 and no one else found it leaving me as the only bid

This is what I ended up with.

I had no idea what I was getting but it turned out to be a quite rare 37mm triple date moon phase that needed a good cleaning and lube. If I found that terrible photo on a listing I may follow up unless the seller was asking for more than a few dollars.
