In Honor of HODINKEE: A Drinking Game

I don't know about the rest of you, but I really enjoy checking out Ben Clymer's HODINKEE every day to see what will be covered next. However, after being a faithful reader, I've noticed certain words keep cropping up in their reviews.

So I humbly submit the Unofficial HODINKEE Drinking Game.

Every time you see any of the below words in a watch review you take a drink (drink can be of your choosing). Feel free to add your own words.

    My top choices are:

    1. Workhorse Movement
    2. Tudor (drink twice if "Black Bay" is specifically mentioned)
    3. Quartz Crisis
    4. Horween (drink twice if "Shell Cordovan" is specifically mentioned)
    5. Military-inspired
    6. Vintage-inspired
    7. Tool Watch
    8. Heritage
    9. In-House
    10. Paul Newman

Extra credit: In the comments section, someone bemoans the fact the watch reviewed is larger than 36mm

While my tongue is firmly in cheek, do you think the above game could be applied to most watch reviews in other websites/publications?

    Thanks,
    -Troy

If I followed all the rules, before getting halfway through the article I'd be crawling around on all fours trying to eat my own face.

What about when 'reasonably priced' and a 5-digit msrp go together in the same sentence? :)

I really enjoy reading hodinkee, and live their week on the w wrist series.

That's a good one, that needs to go into the extra credit category for sure!

definitely enjoy the site too (and their Twitter feed) but I think a Hodinkee drinking game would be remiss not to include mention of anything vintage Rolex related. the extra credit was a brilliant touch though.
