    Question How to default subscribe to threads I posted in?

    I'm a member of another forum which uses the same software as this.
    When you post in a thread on there, it adds the thread to your subscriptions.

    It's very handy because you don't have to keep bookmarks or add a subscription manually (I tend to forget or don't bother)
    Is this possible on this particular forum, I could not find any button to do so.

    I couldn't find a section to put this in, please move if it's in the wrong section.

    Edit.
    For example;
    This thread is NOT on my subscribed threads at the moment. If I want it to be I have to manually add it. Which requires three clicks and having to wait. I would like to have this done automacially when I post in a thread or create a thread.

    Go to settings (upper right hand corner)

    On the left side of the page click on General Settings under My Account

    On the Right Choose Default Thread Subscription Mode

    Choose Instantly, Using Email

    You will now receive an email for any thread you have posted in.

    I don't want email but I suspect "through my control panel" will work.
    Thank you, somehow I missed the Default Thread Subscription Mode button

    Edit.
    It works!!

    I'm on tapatalk at the moment (and for some time to come) where settings are pretty different. Has anyone noticed if changing this retroactively subscribes to threads you've posted in?

    Don't know about Tapatalk but not if you use the forum normally. (on PC with browser)
