How do people trade watches across different countries?

I was just thinking, how do people do it?
I would find it very unsettling to ship a watch without any payment and without the other watch in hand, and im sure the other guy would feel the same way?

    Any advise ?

Ebay if it's a cheaper watch, chrono24.com if it's higher priced..

Or maybe I didn't understand the question? What difference does the country make regarding the seller/buyer trustworthiness problem (sure, shipping is more costly, but the general problem is the same..?)?

Normally, if i trade a watch I would do it face to face - receive a watch and give a watch (everybody happy)
If i sell a watch, I would receive the payment before shipping the watch (happy)
That way im covered either way, however when trading two watches across countries you do not have any guarantee before you ship your watch.

That is the issue im trying to cover.
    Hope it makes sense.

It’s the same issue if you are within your own country. Need to have a lot of trust to do it.
Best way seems to be that each person buys the others watch. Once each receives their payment, you can ship. Extra expense with PayPal costs but it’s relatively safe.
