How Do You Left Wristers Do It... ? ?

I just posed this question in another thread and thought it might be a good conversation.

Purchased to see if I could live with the size and design. Yet to get the real deal. Still haven't made up my mind since I'm a "Right Wrister". How do you, "Left Wristers" not wear anything but Destro's?? I prefer to wear my watches low on my wrist and boy, do these dig in!

    Here's my Ocean7...

Love the TCM brand and had to pick this up! Man... I don't get how you "normal" guys do it!

I can't bear to wear them or part with them (that's a whole 'nother thread)!! Once in a while, I make an exception...

I'm left handed and have always worn watches on that hand.

Any issues with comfort are so infrequent that I barely think about it. As long as my watch stays in my least dominant hand and gets less knocks, I'm happy.

I have the Citizen JP2000-08E which poses a similar, but most likely more moderate issue for the left handed such as myself. I just wear it on the right it isn't bad.. I can't tolerate a watch on my left arm too much in my way..

personally I think I'm out on that Omega as much as it is a awesome design .. I think it would be too much wearing it on the right for me.. and I ain't going to wear it on the left sooooo....

Edit.. I do belief I totally misread the orig post.. watches should be on the right arm.. crowns digging into wrist is blah..

Man, some of you guys are just weird!!

You Left Wristers should try a Destro... I bet you'd love 'em! Only problem is, they are not that common, nor made by just any manufacturer!

Maybe compile a list of Destros. The ones I've shown and Panerai. Any other suggestions?

Never ever had a crown dig into my hand/wrist. However the 2 you used as examples have larger than average protuberences. Esp. the Ocean 7 which is a lose/lose deal.

Destro watches have the crown on the “wrong” side which means that when worn on your right hand they look “normal”. Destro is Italian for right. That is my understanding.

None of my watch frowns dig into my hand. Maybe I just wear mine differently.

I'm left handed, wear my watch on my right wrist, below the wrist bone, not above, and never have or want a "destro". I have had only one watch that was painful to wear--it had a crown that was so big it dug into my arm--first used a Bund type strap to hold the watch off my skin, but later simply had a different crown put on the watch. The only sense a destro makes to me is if you actually wind or adjust it while it is still on your wrist--who does that? I know I don't, so, not necessary.
