How do you store your collection?

    Hi All,

I store my collection of about 50 watches in a box, which is nowhere near ideal. I've been trying to find a better method, but without success.

How do you store or display your collections?

    Regards

    Simon.

Most are in a box, and the more regular wears are scattered wherever there's space on shelves in the wardrobe.

I used to keep them in the original boxes... I only have 10 watches. I now keep them in a little aluminum brief case that holds 8 and I have 2 in the double winder.

I dont think Ill ever display my watches... I rather keep them stored away.

A few are displayed in a 'Dulwich Designs' leather covered box with a glass top:

The majority are stored under the hinged lid of the chest of drawers:

A few more are on stands in this cupboard:

Found this box that holds 20 on Amazon.com, but I also have two smaller ones that hold 5 each. Anything more than 20 gets pretty expensive.

I don't have very many mind you. I keep them in their original boxes, except one, as I do not have the original box, it sits in a fireproof lock box. I have one on a watch winder.

I love the suggestions so far, they're really useful.

My favourite so far is Dapper's chest-of-drawers, as it's very similar to my own ideas as to what I would like in an ideal world. The thing is, with watches coming either with or without accessories/boxes etc, it's difficult to find a cabinet which just fits. Please keep your ideas coming!

    Cheers

    Simon.

I have an 8 slot winder. It also has 12 non-winding slots. Holds a total of 20 watches. I am getting ready to buy another 8 slot winder.
