    how to go about verifying cashier cheques from outside Conus?

    I have a cashier cheque from Canada coming. I will deposit it in my account. When does one ship the watch? Has anyone ever done a transactio like this?

    Normally "Cashier's Cheques" are normally valid only in theCountry of origin although they can be deposited to your account the funds won't be yours until the cheque is cleared (can take some time). Are you sure you aren't being sent a Draft?

    Drafts are basically the same but designed for International transactions.

    Huh, I thought it was a cheque from Canadian bank. It is coming in mail. Certified cheque from canadian bank I think?
