So I am relatively new to WUS, but not to BST forums. I have sold a couple watches on here and bought several in my short time as a member.
I wanted to get some feedback from other WUSers as to how "situations" are dealt with on here.
Recently I purchased a watch that was described as being a week old and "brand new and perfect". The price I paid wasn't what the watch would cost brand spankin new, but within $20. When I received the watch there were four link pins that were falling out, likely due to when the watch was sized the "cuffs" were lost. Also, there were a couple links that have some significant scratches on them as well as the clasp have some desk marks and scratch.
I don't feel as though I received what I paid for. It is definitely not "brand new and perfect". To that extent, I certainly didn't receive what was described. The seller has good feedback here with a couple minor hiccups. We're all human. Prior to the purchase the boardie communicated well. Since I received the watch I have sent him a PM as well as an email asking if he would accept a return. Neither if which has been replied to.
So my question is this, how are things like this handled usually here? How long do you wait before filing a PayPal dispute, getting the moderators involved, etc.
