How much $ do you currently think is "Too Expensive"

I am wondering what people feel is too much to pay for a watch, any watch. Not how much if you were dreaming, how much would you spend of your own money today. For example, some think anything over $500 is too much for them to personally spend, some think $1000 or more is too much. No fantasies, just your reality.

hmmm... the poll is somewhat limited since max "too much" option is $5K+ and it's not too much for most folks here

    30k maybe.

So many watches I like under 30 that I'm not sure I could be convinced to spend more.

I think it more depends on the watch. Retail or more is too much for me. If I find a solid deal, price is irrelevant to a point. With my current finances though, I probably wouldn't be willing to go more than $7k.

Good questions. I don't really think of the higher end watches as too expensive per se, the quality is clearly there in many cases, but even if I were able to afford them I would just struggle to spend that much on a non essential item. For me anything above about $1500 would prompt some soul searching. Clearly everyone will feel differently on this. Hasn't stopped me window shopping the web though!!

if by today, you mean right now in the next 24 hours...ZERO
i don't have any watches scheduled.
If you mean to ask "will I ever buy a watch above $5,000"
    yes but not right now.
