how to take a watch to get links removed..

i'm taking my watch to a watchmaker to get links removed. my silly, bored, question is.. how should i take my watch there? i mean, it's way too big for me to wear there. and i might feel weird holding it in my hand. aaaaaaaa

Carry it in a frilly laced jewellery box. Or man up and just hold it in your hands. Seriously, can't you put it in the box it came in & carry that box in a shopping bag?

Well, Put it on your ankle if it is to big for your wrist.....
