i'm taking my watch to a watchmaker to get links removed. my silly, bored, question is.. how should i take my watch there? i mean, it's way too big for me to wear there. and i might feel weird holding it in my hand. aaaaaaaa

I'm sure it'll fit on your wrist for 15 minutes?
Otherwise a small hand towel/face cloth?
Carry it in a frilly laced jewellery box. Or man up and just hold it in your hands. Seriously, can't you put it in the box it came in & carry that box in a shopping bag?
Do you have a cloth and a pocket?
a sheet of bubble wrap
Put it inside the smallest Russian Stacking Doll it fits into and stack it inside loads of others.

I usually fedex the watch to my watchmaker and follow the truck there.
