How to use a diver (count up bezel) for a second time zone!

Works fine by dividing by 5 but easier to double and take a zero out! Of course you only get a 12 h GMT.

This watch is set for a second time zone,7 h after. Take a look!

I would say interesting... I never looked at diver bezel as a solution for a second time zone. And I am chasing for an GMT watch for months.... :-D

No question this work, but so does doing the difference between my current timezone, and the timezone of choice, in my head, which seems even simpler. So, if I'm 2 hours late at my current position compared to home, and it's 2 o'clock here then: 2+2=4 so it's 4 o'clock @ home...

The very reason why I dislike GMT using rotating bezel; it monopolize the rotating bezel, which I normally use all the time for various thing, for something that is simple to do in my head and which it not only not simplify all that much, but introduce chances of error.

I have been using my diver bezel as a second time zone a couple of month now and find it very easy. Is a bit of a GMT-killer ;)

For most time zones it is easier to adjust the hours mentally.

If you by most mean close time zones I tend to agree. But If you are +-7, 8, 9 etc hours this is much easier in my book :) I do a lot of travelling and I don't miss my GMT watch any more.

What gets me is not so much the number of hours, but when it jumps a day. I once messed up hotel reservation because of this, so now I take the time to write it on paper just to make sure I got it right before I click "purchase" on hotel room.

Yup that could mess up things. Paper still rules :)

Hmm but it gets more complicated if you are say 7 hours or so.
