Does anyone know about movement in this watch. I heard it was an el primero movement but don’t believe it, does anyone know. It’s a Bulgari Diagono AC 38 AT. Thanks.

Jomashop says the movement is a B130; several outlets show that as a customized 2894.

Has any brand other than Zenith used the El Primero?

the above is correct. notice the swapping of the minute counter and the running minute, which is unique to the DD module. An el primero has the chronograph second on the right side.

If memory serves, Rolex did. I believe I've seen Daytonas auctioned where the El Primero was mentioned.

    Yep: https://www.watchtime.com/featured/t...-year-history/

And probably several others. The whole "in house" is a rather recent form of Kool-Aid.

    Many brands used it.

Rolex, Tag Heuer, (Calibre 36), Hublot, Panerai, Ebel to name a few...

Concord Impresario and Waldan International come to mind. I believe Waldan and Ebel were the first to ask Zenith for EP movements after they had reputedly been destroyed. Of course the fantastic story tells us the extra movements and machinery to manufacture them were meticulously preserved against Zenith management's orders by one Charles Vermot. Thank goodness!
