I own a digital watch from the 80's, but its Alarm quit beeping!
so I found the same watch, 6 years younger just different outer look, that has a working Alarm.
I opened both of them, they both have the same Identical movement!!!, just as if they came out of the factory the same day. Same look, feel, fit, functions, etc.
I'm thinking of switching the working Alarm movement into the one that quit, ...?
Do you think the watch would acquire its value back because the alarm works, or would it lose it's value, cause the interior was replaced?
