Ideas for an Auto to be used as a beater

Well after getting my SGBR083 (I apologies for my pasty pail skin and hairy wrists also this thing is insanely hard even with a simi ok digital camera to photograph and capture sunlight reflections) and with my other watch needing to be serviced. I need something I feel a bit more comfortable with throwing a football or Frisbee, and well something I don't worry about.

So I've somewhat figured what I'm looking for, but I seem to be unable to find it.

    1. All brushed steel bracket. No polish.
    2. Case is as much brushed steal as possible (going to be hard to get 100%).
    3. 3 hands + date complication.
    4. Automatic movement pretty open here on brands, easier/cheaper to service the better.
    5. Case thickness 12 or under (thinner is better)
    6. Case diameter 41 or under
    7. Price under 1,000 (and lower is better)
    8. oh and if possible WR in the 100-200 meter level.
    9. New not preowned.

As I've got 2 black dial watches already, something not black would be ideal. And well I want the watch face to be a simple.

I actually looked at a Citizen Grand Signature today. Lovely watch, but far too much polish for something I will scratch up. But if they could brush one of those up, it's a pretty good idea of what I like.

Anyway, as always thank you guys for any help in enabling me to waste more money on a watch!

There are tons of choices under a grand, and for a lot of people, that much is already a lot. Not a criticism of you, OP. Just that you'll get all kinds of responses. Maybe there's a style you were thinking of?

Hmm, looked at them a bit. Thank you for the idea. The only watch they appear to have that fits is this:

A good starting point for sure.

Well when i say simple, I'm basically saying I want a traditional looking watch, 3 hands....not a chrono, not really a drive watch (but if it were simple enough perhaps). I know it's wide open, but that just means more excuses to post pictures of watches!

But yeah, I'm kinda open as I tend to like watches that are a bit more dressy such as the GS posted, and I kinda of want just that with all brushed steel and at a lower price point and in a smaller package...and without the in house expensive movement and crazy high level of finishing as well this is a watch I plan to scratch up to hell.

Definitely look into the Hamilton Khaki line. My beater is model H70515137
All brushed bracelet, 100m WR, comes in 41mmm or 38mm (mine is the 41), about 11mm thick, great legibility, sapphire (or course!), runs standard and reliable eta 2824 movement and can be had new for under $500. Almost entirely brushed case but polished bezel... there are other Khaki models that are bead blasted; not sure about all brushed. Browse the line.

Below looks like the 38 mm model. 41 mm is a little more spread out, but is a somewhat large wearing 41 (lug to lug height approx 50mm), which is still borderline workable on my 6 1/8 inch wrist.

Honda Civic, maybe. Ooops wrong forum.

A used Sinn/Damasko or any number of micro-brands seem just about right, sorry for lack of better suggestions I just wanted to make the smart alec comment.
