    Identify my Stowa

Hi, I just inherited this Stowa, and would like to find out more about it. It says "Stowa 17 rubis antichoc" on the face, and the hours are in roman numerals. The back appears to be hand painted. It's been recently serviced, and is in full working condition. I only know that it's a German brand that's been around for 80+ years - I've no idea how old this watch is, or how rare it is. Any information would be appreciated, thanks!

    Visit our Stowa Forum.
The ladies PW you inherited goes back to the 50ties. Maybe rare today, but a "mass product" with typical design of the 50ties. Ladies pocket watches are not much sought for.

There are currently 4 identical watches (a Pallas Stowa and a Stowa )on ebay, the flowers are painted in different colors. Some are without a bid.

Well, it probably hasn't that much monetary value as Mike just stated. However, it certainly is aesthetically pleasing and seems to be in great condition. Being recently serviced it's ready to wear; you should just find a nice watch chain or a necklace for it and start wearing it in good health.

And yes, check out the Stowa forum here on WUS, maybe you'll get more answers there, who knows.
