    Identify this watch?

Since Joe Rogan went to the effort to show it off, I guess it's fair to find out what he was wearing.

    Hi,
I looks like a Breitling Avenger much like the one in this link but with a white dial.
The little I can see of the bracelet and bezel form factor are my two key points of reference in #3 image. Other then that it could be several other Breitlings in the range like the Colt Quatrz. Too bad the photos aren't a bit clearer.
As it looks like well polished SS I'm leaning towards the Colt, but only just.

I don't know him from Adam. What is his claim to fame?

Joe Rogan is an interesting character. He is a comedian and an actor (he was on News Radio and has his own TV show in the States called fear factor). He is also the colour announcer for many UFC broadcasts. What makes him interesting is that in addition to being a comedian and tv personality, he is a former top level artial artist himself (tae kwon do, i believe) with several wins in major competitions in the USA.

With respect to the watch, I am guessing that it was part of a sponsorship deal, otherwise, pretty goofy to be showing it off that way....

BTW, wasn't that an awesome card, Migo? Two major upsets (although many predicted the win by Rampage) and some very entertaining fights.

Yeah, I was thinking Rampage had everything necessary to beat Chuck, was just a question of whether his earlier losses were because of bad style matchups or whether he was on a downward spiral.

I'm a fan of upsets unless I bet on the favourite. Fortunately I had the sense not to bet on Chuck.

BTW, I'd say Joe being a BJJ purple belt under Eddie Bravo is a bit more impressive than his TKD accolades.

I didn't know that Rogan was also trained in BJJ. I thought that his background was strictly TKD. Interesting.

As for the upsets, I loved seeing Keith Jardin lose -- I can't stand that guy! It was great to see the pre-fight where he was "upset" to have to fight this unknown guy.

Combined with the losses by Crocop, Hughes, and St. Pierre, the top ranks are all in disarray. I love MMA. They say it about other sports, but in this one, it really holds true: on any given night.....

Yeah, that's why you heard Joe saying that Leben was working the rubber guard, in mission control and going for the zombie.

Definitely part of a sponsorship deal, then.
