If U could be involved w/ ONE aspect of the watch industry, making good $$, WHAT would that be?

    Assumption:
You make the same or better $$$, and you can control a good chunk of the production.
    But only ONE.

Question: What part would that be?

    Design? (or complaining about design?)
Public relations? Investing? Manufacturing (parts)? Sales? Assembly? Reviews (blogs, etc)? Etc. etc.

    Manufacturer's Rep.

Been in sales my entire life; love it. Liaison between the brand and the retailers. Travel, wearing the product, being the first to present the new models, getting feedback from the sellers, etc.

Sure, design and PR are attractive, but I'd rather be out there on the front lines connecting with people as enthusiastic as myself about my products.

Unless, of course, we're talking CEO

    Brand ambassador.

What...you're going to pay me to wear your watches? Yes, please.

Brand Ambassador for sure - pay me to wear watches for free - hell yeah...
I guess CEO role would also be nice - nothing crazy, maybe Zenith or something like that

Sales at the retail level- I'd get to play with more brands. And I could scan the forum looking for references about how stupid I am. (Right now i have to rely on my wife to supply that sort of opinion)

I would be one of those designers who just sat around drinking coffee making what ever I wanted. That would be a pretty good job.

I would also design stuff like really cool steering wheels with the same program after work.

Sole heir to the family that owns the brand who never shows up to work up reaps the benefits of everyone's labor.
