If you could only keep one watch...

The reason doesn't really matter, but I'm considering liquidating my collection to generate some cash and only keeping one watch which would be my only one for the foreseeable future. In my case the watch I'd like to hold onto is my favorite and original grail, Tag Heuer Grand Carrera cal. 17.

I can imagine this would be a scary prospect for many of us here, any thoughts?
    Current Collection:

IWC Pilot Saint Exupery edition power reserve

Maurice Lacroix Pontos Chrono with Aligator Strap (who says you can't wear a Chrono with a Tux?)

Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 17 with stainless bracelet (The Desk Diver)

Casio G Shock AWG101-1A (The Beater/ Lazy Sunday watch)

    U-Boat Classico ref.5565

Thoughts for you would be, I'd hold on to the IWC. Second, no matter the situation, I hope you are able to avoid liquidation. Third, if you need to liquidate, give me a number on the IWC and ML. Good Luck. WRT the liquidation reason, I hope it is a case of choice, and not necessity.

Lets stop the dealing right now. This is not The Sales Corner.

Sorry, didn't want the thread to sound like a sales pitch, I meant to ask members if in a hypothetical situation they had to let go of all but one watch in their current collection, which would it be.

That's OK but I don't want to see offers or suggestions that others want to buy X or Y out of your collection. Sales get done on the Sales Corner or you're violating our Rules.

You should keep the IWC without question. Thats a nice tribute watch to a cool individual in our history. You will never run into anyone else who wears one. I love that watch. Myself - my Anonimo Professionale Chrono - no question.

It would be hard to me let the IWC go, but it's your choice that matters. And it's certainly not a problem to be «a one man watch» for a while.
The future can always bring good surprises and oportunities to get a few more, when the rigth time comes.

I would keep my one month old Swiss Army, a very underrated affordable watch. Without mentioning any other brands
I could easily live with only this one watch. Why, ever had a watch that keeps excellent time, plus 1 second a day and stable no matter how you wear it?
Don't P.M. me though, I'm not selling anything, just answering the question.

P.S. Somehow these photos came out too big. How do I delete them or make smaller?
