    If you had $2600...

So imagine that your current and only watch is a black Tudor Pelagos and you have $2600 to play with. What other watch would you buy?

This is sorta my situation (after I sell my PO 2500) and Im just not sure what to do. Curious to hear what others would do in this situation.

In that range Id go with something along the lines of a Nomos club. Itd be a nice compliment to your Pelagos.

The PO 2500 is the perfect watch at that price point. Since you need to complement the Pelagos, maybe an Aqua Terra as a GADA watch?

Save up some more and get a Speedy.
Alternatively, something completely different like a white dial ingenieur or IWC Mk 18.

Since you're asking what I would do if I had a Pelagos and $2600, I would buy a Ball Cleveland Express (dial color of your choice, below is my favorite) for less than half your cash, and save the rest for something that jumps out somewhere further down the road.

Go against the forum's automatic bias. Go Japanese HAQ.

    Citizen AQ 4020 54Y

Exclusive hand made paper dial and floating applied indices. Incredibly sophisticated HAQ movement, +/-5 Second per year. Fit and hand finish that gives $8000 Rolexes a run for their money.

    Hmm

You've already got the dive watch, so either a chrono or something dressy...I'd say a vintage Wakmann Triple Calendar (with Valjoux 730) or a vintage Omega Constellation.

I'm not as well versed in newer watches...$2600 is interesting territory...maybe something by Ball (though could be had cheaper used), or a Doxa Sub (though you already have the diver).
