I'm Baaack! And Would Love a Suggestion for a Men's Watch

Hello there! It seems once a year, I end up posting here for suggestions and have really appreciated them so much because my husband loves all the watches I've given him. It's almost that time of year again, and I'm looking for a causal, cool watch with a white face that's not too big (<= 42mm). Price range $1500 USD.

Currently he has a Stowa (black face), a Luminox, a B&M Dressy Watch and a Casio G-Shock. I'm thinking that since he'll be retiring soon, I'd like to get him a casual watch but a nice one that's not so busy on the front. Round face. Probably white since the only one with a "beige" face is the B&M. He does prefer not so heavy watches, I do know that. His favorite is the Luminox. He mentioned he loves how light it is. I'm wondering about a chronograph?

I'm open to suggestions from you men who love watches! And women who know about them! LOL! Anyone have any suggestions??

Just a thought ... not a chrono, but a very nice, attractive automatic with a white (actually silver) face and blue hands. Well within your price range: The new Citizen Signature Grand Classic is positioned in the market to compete with mid-range Swiss watches. It's a very good value at $995 MSRP.

Rather than post a picture, I'm giving you a link to an excellent post from one of our most valued contributors, CitizenM. He discusses this watch in some great detail, and why he believes it to be significant. The link has pictures.

I just got one myself a few days ago, and I'm wearing it as I write this post. It is a very nice watch indeed.

I second that Citizen automatic suggestion. Another thread with pictures of Dbakiva's actual watch (and mine too) is here:

That's a beautiful watch. I love the blue hands! I'm not so sure about the silver colored band for him though although it looks great on your wrist. He's very slender and I've noticed he likes leather. I think the leather band of the same watch would be good for him and I love it!!! I'm bookmarking this one and hoping others respond with their suggestions so I can do a comparison. Thank you so much for this fantastic suggestion!

Unfortunately chronograph and $1500 price limit doesn't mix too well.

Can get some nice non-chrono pieces for that though.

The styles not for everyone, but I just picked this one up for ~$1500, and it seems to fit the bill here

What about a Tissot PRS 516 Chronograph automatic? The MSRP is around $1500 but ADs usually give discounts.
