I'm clearly not a WIS (and grateful for that fact)!

Having recently filled out my holy trinity, I have no attainable grail left, and am very content with this three-watch rotation. So much so that I'll be selling my Martin Braun and Oris watches in the near future.

    It feels great!

    You should be banned!

Mark, is your EOS the one with the googly eyes at the bottom? They're funky looking watches.

That's the one, Dennis; it has a blue dial. And my wife and I have always referred to it the same way!

It's a beautiful watch, and wonderfully funky. But it has to go, both because that was the deal with my wife clearing the way for the last acquisition, and because it simply won't get any wrist time now, and it's too nice a watch to sit in a drawer.

    Congratulations!!

Would you be up for a gentlemen's (meaning for nothing other than bragging/teasing rights) bet? If you haven't bought a new watch in a year, you win. If you have, you have to 'fess up and then you might have to admit that you are a... <gasp> WIS!!!

Gifting the others would be a magnanimous gesture to a fellow forum member, not that I have any real interest in Oris. :..

Good for you! I had a similar phase a few months ago after buying a Breitling Steelfish X plus. I even stopped visiting this sight for a few weeks and was completely happy with my collection. I was set on buying a Seiko SKX007 for more 'dangerous' jobs and figured I had better check WUS for some info and pictures of the watch on different straps (big mistake). Now I am barely holding off buying a few more watches to start the new year off right...

If your 3 are the 2 Seikos and the IWC.... then I get it. What a rotation that would be.... Drool....

    So, what's your unattainable grail?

I sure will post up if I buy another watch; if I do, it would be a beauty, and worth sharing. Don't know about the WIS admission, though.

    That's the rotation; thanks!

Well, if money were no issue, there are many to choose from. But the leading candidate (mind you, there's no chance I will ever spend remotely in the neighborhood of what this costs), but JLC has a number of exquisitely beautiful pieces, perhaps highlighted by Jaeger-LeCoultre - Watches - Duomètre à Chronographe.
