    Incoming grail! Oris Nico Rosberg...

Usually grail watches are either very rare, or very expensive...not to mention fondly desired.

Well, the Oris Nico Rosberg model is not very rare nor very expensive, but I have wanted on a lot for quite a while. The main hang up is finding one at a decent price [somewhat under $1000] the vendor of which is willing to ship to Canada [harder to find than $1000].

Today it happened! Topper Jewelry, WUS's latest commercial sponsor had one on clearance, and I nabbed it. Go me!

Nice one! I didn't know Rosberg had a named watch. He did a great job this year in F1! I thought his car number was 4 though, why the highlighted 10?

    Wow, that is nice. Congrats!

There are probably a dozen different Oris pieces I'd like to have. I dig their entire product line. And I really like this one. I'm not surprised you're excited to get it.

I used to have an Oris Williams F1, and I wish I still had it. Enjoy yours in good health.

My gin and tonic is in the air as well. I remember the first time I held the watch I lusted after more than anything in the world in my hands and when it was mine. It was an amazing feeling and I feel the same way every time I put it on, to this day. Congratulations and enjoy it in good health.

Re: Incoming grail! Oris Nico Rosberg...

Heh -- I'm not a racing fan at all....I didn't even know who Nico Rosberg was before I fell in love with this watch. Apparently the '10' is/was his driver number...that's what it says on the Topper website anyhow.

I've always liked the Oris F1 day/date models, and the distinctiveness of the dial really speaks to me. The titanium and rubber combination is completely unlike my other watches, so that adds to its appeal, for me at least.
