You do know they are not made in Germany? Made in China. They were a major watch company over 150 years ago.
A few years ago the name was brought back in order to cheat honest hard working people out of their money,
by putting German Design on cheap watches and tricking people into thinking they were getting a quality watch...
    That's all I know.

I have owned a few and if you can get one you really like for under $300 then I would say its worth it. Like someone states earlier they are made in China. I bought the few that I had from Shopnbc at a good discount. One of the three or four that I once had, had an issue. The chrono pusher broke off after about 6 months, I sent it back for a full refund from Shopnbc. That being said you will definitely get a better quality watch for the price if you stick with Citizen, Seiko etc.... but they do have some pretty unique designs that you ordinarily won't find for a few hundred bucks but beware you'll be sacrificing quality for those unique designs.

That watch looks like a homage of a Graham watch. Maybe if you look around on the net one day you night find it in a 70% off sale but it's hard to recommend it for $500.

Visited the Ingersoll booth at the Munichtime yesteday. Couldn't find anything what was worth to be called "unique design".
All of them were large in diameter, mostly interchangable.
    Kind regards
