You will find that Orient gets a lot more love around here than Invicta, but both of these are good buys for the money. Also consider the Orient Ray, and the Invicta 8926.

As far as brands go, I would tend to favor Orient over Invicta but with these two I would just pick the one that you like better. The Invicta is a mix of Submariner and Seamaster copies and looks decent. You may be happier with the Orient over the long term.

    Maybe consider a Seiko?

Orient Mako, not even a comparison. The Mako in my opinion is one of the best watch around $100-$150.

Mako wins by a mile, but if for whatever reason you was going to buy an Invicta the 8926 should be your only choice Imo

No brainer......Invicta all the way, don't be like the sheeple around here, and go against the WIS grain.

Just on looks alone, I would choose the Mako.

Honestly, if more members knew what "sheeple" really means; they'd be really angry and Hella offended. LOL !

But how hard is it to figure it out? There are definitely sheeple here, similar to "mob mentality", in internet form. That said, I personally think Invicta has done a lot to destroy the watch world, scamming people with their fake discounts (hey, a $900 watch for $200 what a deal!) and producing giant, gaudy, ugly watches (50mm Russian canteen diver, really!?) for the masses.
