Invicta Vintage Series IV - Black Dial - Amazing!

I know that Invicta is not a manufacturer that is as well respected as others, but I just bought a Vintage Series IV model that is simply and outstanding value for the money. I purchased it from SlopNBC where it sold originally for $399.99 but this one was marked down as clearance for just $149.99. I could not resist - even though I also bought a Tissot LeLocle Automatic to compete with it. The Invicta has a 42mm bezel, 13mm thick case, applied Arabic numerals and a Swiss Rondo quartz movement. It is one of the most solid, heaviest watches I own and the fit and finish are superb. This watch screams quality. My photos below do not do it justice. (Photographing watches seems to be an art form I have not perfected.)

Very solid and thick. The only thing about it is that it is so solid that the bracelet tends to buckle a bit, but I don't mind that one bit.

Kewl ... it should "loosen up" through use though. I can imagine how nice that will be.

Again, nice catch ... I like that piece.
