IWC Portugieser 7 Day or Glashutte Original Panoreserve

I am trying to figure which watch to go for? Does any have experience with purchasing this watch in Vancouver BC? Which one do you think would give best price? Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

GO all the way if it were me. GO has some of the best finished movements that money can buy at this price point (or well above). The engraved double balance bridge is as beautiful as it is rare...

I have been eyeing the GO panoreserve for a long time. Although it has less power reserve, its smaller dial, thinner case, exquisite big date and the white gold markers are what drawn me to it.

In terms of movement finishing , I think GO is better, but the IWC gives you "more room to look into".

I visited the GO (with Longines) boutique in Vancouver a few months ago. Very nice little store with very nice watches.
No experience with the IWC to give an opinion.

I'm a big fan of GO watches but in this case I'll actually go with the IWC (specifically the one with blued hands stainless steel). I just find the GO dial a bit messy and complicated.

Best of both worlds (IMO): GO Senator Observer. And I voted with my wallet.

Between your choices I'd still take the GO.

You mean because he won't get lost in admiration every time he looks at it?
