IWC watch making strange winding/spring noise

I've recently purchased an IWC 3717-01. Lovely watch. However, I've noticed that if I shake the watch, even just gently, it's making a series of fairly audible odd sounds, first a spinning sound, then like a spring unrolling and finally a couple or three clicking sounds. Not super loud, but you can clearly hear it if you put your ear to it, and you can feel the case gently shaking during its spins and clicks.

I've considered heading back to the shop and ask if this is normal.. This is my first automatic, so might just be me being extremely sensitive.

    Thoughts anyone?

its a automatic chronograph. what you hear is the rotor which free spins and winds the movement. it normal. they all make noise, some more than others. gives it character. I have one that makes a horid racket its good. also thats a very nice watch. congrats.

Valjoux 775x watches are notoriously noisy. In fact, I rather like them that way. Enjoy your new watch there isn't a thing wrong with it.

The infamous 7750 wobble. My Sinn 356 does the same thing. I too like the noise and vibration. It reminds me that I am wearing a mechanical watch.
