    JLC Polaris vs Explorer 1

Looking for a nice dark time only, casual/sporty watch. These two seem to fit the bill best for me, which do you guys like better? Also considering AP 15202 but a bit pricy...

Thing is, only watch I have right now is the JLC Master Geographic, so JLC is a bit redundant, but I think I slightttly prefer it to the Explorer

If I disregard price, I would go in this order:

AP - love the dial and the bracelet
Rolex - great all around every day watch
JLC - typically love the brand but this one doesn't really do much for me

Definitely a tough choice. If it's me deciding I'd try them both on and then decide.

I'm casting a conditional vote for the JLC. My conditions:

    1) You said the AP is pricey. If you can make it work, it's the clear winner among these three.
    2) I have yet to see or handle the JLC in person. I love it on the screen, but we all know that the in-person experience can often be a let down.

I voted AP, but between the Rolex and the JLC, id go with the Jager. I never have been a fan of the explorer one, not sure why, it just doesn't speak to me.

The JLC Polaris is a beauty, if they made it in a 39mm case I'd be a buyer.

Buying another JLC is redundant is you only have a two watch collection, go with the Explorer it's a great choice and one that can be used for many years.

The AP is nice if you feel you are getting the value.

Out of the Explorer and Polaris, I'd take the Jaeger for sure. It has more character IMHO. Very well designed and readable.

Being a 50 year anniversary is nice too.
