Dear fellow watchlovers,
Hereby I open my second thread and I hope that not only me, but also all you watch lovers will enjoy the topic.
The reason I opened this thread is as follows: This week I graduated from university with a bachelor degree in Psychology.
I wanted to couple this achievement with my first "real" watch. My current "collection" consists of a seiko 5 sports Sea urchin SNZF17k1, Orient bambino rose gold
and a fashion watch from Tommy Hilfiger. My budget is around 1000 euro's, in case someone really shows me a dreamwatch which is a little over budget, dont worry but post it.
I want to ask all of you to give me your opinion to which watch I should go for. I am not interested in the orient and seiko watches, although I really appreciate and respect the pieces
and I believe that they are the greatest in regards to price/quality. However I am looking for my first "bigger" brand watch to buy. So I want to ask your guys opinion, keep in mind my budget,
preferably not a dress watch. I was really interested in the 43 mm Christopher Ward C60 Trident pro 600 Blue, but unfortunately the 43mm version will not be made anymore in the future.
This left me in tears and hope that someone can bring the happiness back on my face. I already want to thank all of you who took the time to post their suggestion and I hope that this thread will lead
to a great mix of watches with the result that I and maybe other watch lovers, will find their watch who they fell in love with!
Edit: Thankos to yongsoo1982 I noticed I had to edit my post. I prefer an automatic watch, I am very in love with blue dials. Further restrictions I dont really have. The reason why I dont want a dress watch is that
I currently dont have many occasions where I will be able to wear them. I want a watch that is suitable for most occasions so that every time I wear this piece I will be memorized by my achievements. With this being said I think a chronograph will be a very amazing timepiece, if there are any in my budget with a respectable brand.
